The New Generation Cinema was born from young people's dreams. Back in the Fall of 2003, this new generation, in a small town of Switzerland, decided to bring their dreams to reality. Dreams not only about the love of cinema, but for the necessity to send messages of Love, Peace, and Hope to the entire world. Barum Mrad Georgis founded New Generation Cinema. His many experiences in cinema such as directing, producing, and managing, as well as winning Mr. Beautiful of Switzerland in 2002, gave him the freedom to grant this opportunity to other young people of realizing their dreams. Because of the effort of all these young people, New Generation Cinema is now known internationally after only few months of existence.

Today is considered the "biggest Mass Media Environment ever, led by only young people!". The quick and impressive expansion to an International Network made NGC a powerful environment from where young people express themselves without fearing anything.

New Generation Cinema is the name of a dream that is realizing other dreams. The name came from the idea to protect the new generation’s future by using movies as a tool to communicate. Back in the beginning when NGC was born, the main part on which every work ended was Cinema, movies. NGC started by doing short movies writing script, and then long length movies. Later on, after a big success where people started to believe in those young people that are working hard for a purpose that doesn’t belong to them, NGC expanded its power by using every tool possible to communicate.

New Generation is the main part of the name that describe "who", and Cinema is the word that describe "what" they do. Cinema now is used a synonym of communication, so New Generation Cinema practically means "The new generation is communicating with you!".
